ReBirth retells a beautiful story about being stuck in the muck and messiness of this thing called Life and then something supernatural happens. It’s a story about being broken and lost until the Creator of the world steps in and reveals Himself in a life-changing way. These songs came to me during seasons I was headed toward unknown paths and God made my path straight, leaving me forever changed, newly alive, set free, restored, cleansed, reborn, Rebirthed in Christ. This is more than my own story. It’s our universal story about the saving grace of Jesus. He restores us, redirects our path, guides us in His wisdom and knowledge through His word, The Bible, and brings forth a new freshness with the renewing of the mind, body, and soul. The Savior of the world, sent to clean our hearts, in essence rebirth us in a new beginning, and we are forever changed. That is what these lyrics in this album mean to me. May the Holy Spirit touch the hearts and minds of many in these sweet symphonies. The release of the full album ReBirth is in the works, in Jesus name. ~ Carla

Determined to create an album, at a young age I started writing songs like “Chase Your Dreams,” “Better Place,” and “Make a Change.” I consistently prayed for God to show me my purpose in life. Then, one day God revealed Himself to me in my sleep. I had a dream where Jesus descended into my home. He embodied the most powerful, piercing white that washed everything in a glorious light like I have never seen. With pure love, Jesus asked, “What do you want to do with your life?” Without hesitation, I said, “Sing.” Jesus had the biggest smile as He touched my upper arms. I later received three songs from God: “Faith, Hope, and Love,” “With Arms Open Wide,” and “All of Me.”
As years passed, God placed on my heart to pray for a ministry to help hurting people. I soon learned that one must go through their own season of hurt to develop the deep understanding required to help others who are hurting. In 2021, I experienced an injury and sought a clinic for treatment, which led to several additional injuries. March 27, 2021 until March 27, 2023—exactly two years to the day—I remained bedridden in deep pursuit to find healing.
Something wonderful took place during my “confined season.” My mother prayed over me and God spoke a word through her. “Fear not,” He said, “for I the Lord your God will send Him, whom will help you.” It was shortly after that prayer, that God sent a producer, MEL House Studios, a beautiful vocal coach, and several others to help bring His purpose to life, an EP set to release known as ReBirth. I’m honored to share my testimony in hopes that people may know they are truly “Never Alone” and can be “Set Free.” “For if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
